Austin Scott praises Trump’s address on border security and drug control

U.S. Representative Austin Scott of Georgia’s 8th District has shared his thoughts following President Donald J. Trump’s recent Joint Address to Congress. In a statement released today, Rep. Scott praised the President for fulfilling promises related to border security and tackling issues concerning fentanyl and cartels.

“President Trump has delivered on his promise to secure our borders and halt the flow of deadly fentanyl and cartels into our country,” said Rep. Scott. He also commended the administration’s efforts in “exposing and eliminating tax dollar abuse.”

Rep. Scott expressed his eagerness to continue collaborating with the Trump administration, stating, “I look forward to continuing to work with the administration to advance national and global security.”
