On Wednesday, Feb. 19, former Houston County High School standouts Eli Stephens and Kai Decker’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Kennesaw State Owls.
The game took place at S. Walter Kelly Sr. Memorial Field. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field against Kent State Golden Flashes.
