On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Houston County High School standouts Kendall Huelsman and Madison Banks’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Miles Golden Bears.

The game took place at Lady Canes Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. at Lady Canes Softball Field against Auburn Montgomery Warhawks.
