On Thursday, May 8, former Houston County High School standouts Kendall Huelsman and Madison Banks’ current college team, the Georgia Southwestern State Hurricanes, lost 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Francis Marion Patriots.

The game took place at FMU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Hurricanes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 4:05 p.m. at FMU Softball Stadium against Flagler Saints.
