Christ United Methodist Church recently issued the following announcement.
November 14, 6pm in the Sanctuary is Christ UMC’s Charge Conference with our District Superintendent Rev. Craig Hutto. We will celebrate this past year and look forward to celebrating 50 years of ministry in 2022! Every year at Charge Conference our church membership votes on various administrative items including our upcoming year's Lay Leadership. This year we will also be voting to move the New Building Fund money that began being raised in 2005 into a Capital Improvement Fund line item. This Capital Improvement Fund would be used by our church to renovate our current campus and facilities to help us be accessible, inviting, and welcoming for our community and congregation. A Committee will be formed to receive suggestions and recommend items to our Trustees to discern a course of action and submit to our Leadership Board for final approval.
