Join the City of Perry as we recognize Juneteenth with our 2nd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Festival celebrating the emancipation of those who had been enslaved in the United States!
Today's Juneteenth highlight is our outdoor stage schedule! Featuring a diverse lineup of talent with song, dance, spoken word, and more, our outdoor stage will offer live entertainment starting at Noon.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Today Juneteenth commemorates African American freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.
