Submit your artwork now for our Black History Month banner art contest! The City of Perry is currently accepting artwork in four age categories (Elementary, Middle School, High School, and Adult (18+) for our Black History Month banner art contest.

A panel of judges will select one winner from each category to have their artwork displayed on a series of banners that will be exhibited on General Courtney Hodges Blvd during the month of February 2023 in honor of Black History Month.

The City of Perry is proud to host personalized banners during the month of February to promote the impact that our African American community has had on the City of Perry, Georgia. From honoring the past to inspiring the future, the mission of the City of Perry's Black History Month celebration is to connect all citizens with knowledge and reflection on the varied accomplishments of our African American community.
