The City of Perry was awarded the International Economic Development Council Silver Award for the revitalization support of The Muse Theater in Historic Downtown Perry.
To preserve as much historical nature as possible while creating a beautiful event space for the community, City staff worked with the Downtown Development Authority to secure funding for the building’s renovation. Appropriately named “The Muse Theatre,” the goal was to give Perry back one of its beloved historic buildings.
