There were 3,900 12th grade students enrolled in Houston County schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.6% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Houston County High School welcomed the largest number of 12th grade students among county schools, registering 927 students during the 2022-23 school year.

Within Houston County schools, the highest student count was found in ninth grade, with the smallest class sizes seen in 12th grade.

Statewide, Houston County ranked 12th in enrollment numbers, with a total of 58,772 students enrolled in the 2022-23 school year. It was also ranked 12th the year before.
