U.S. Representative Austin Scott from Georgia's 8th district cast his vote in favor of the American Relief Act. In a statement, Rep. Scott explained his reasons for supporting the legislation.
"I voted again in support of our farmers receiving critical disaster relief, economic assistance, and a Farm Bill extension. I also voted to keep our government open, which I believe is in the best interest of our country," Rep. Scott stated.
