Only 10 MORE DAYS until the Perry International Festival so we are going to highlight 10 things that you can look forward to enjoying at the FREE Perry International Festival on Saturday, September 24:
1: EIGHT hours of LIVE performances on TWO stages! Our Heritage Stage and Diversity Stage will feature performances from groups from as close as right here in Perry, Georgia to as far away as the state of Utah!
2: Come hungry! From food trucks to local restaurants, our downtown dining and drink options during the Perry International Festival will make every Foodie's mouth water!
3: Get a jump start on holiday shopping at our International Market and browse Historic Downtown Perry's many unique boutiques and retailers!
4: Immerse yourself in the magic of mariachi! Mariachi Búhos de Oro will be performing throughout the festival footprint live from 3 PM - 6 PM. Prefer to watch them on stage? Be sure to stop by the Diversity Stage at 2 PM!
5: The Perry International Festival Car Show will feature a mixture of foreign and domestic vehicles - both modern and classics! Be sure to vote for your favorite vehicles while you browse the festival!
6: Attendees of all ages will enjoy participating in our free Percussion Play Area where you can make your own street music with an assortment of instruments from around the world. Be sure to check out our free Cultural Closet as well, where attendees can learn about traditional clothing and accessories from other cultures!
7: Stop by the Visit Perry Information Tent at the festival to pick up a FREE flag (various designs, while supplies last) provided courtesy of the Promotions Committee of Perry Main Street!
8: Sail away to the sounds of the steel drum! Latitude Adjustment Steel will be performing live near The Swanson throughout the festival!
9: Smile & Say Cheese! A majority of our performers on both stages will be available following their performances for free photos and brief interactions with attendees!
10: Participate in the Perry International Festival Photography Contest! With categories for amateur and professional, youth and adult, we invite you to capture the spirit of the Perry International Festival!
